Hi Gang.....
We're back from Alaska with over 150 lbs. of filets (salmon, ling cod, halibut and black rock bass). Our freezer is about half full. We've got to eat a lot between now and late October when I return from Newfoundland with another freezer full of moose meat.
The attached photo is from a single days catch from a charter out of Seward. I'm at the lower left. Next to me is our guide ("Cat") and Eva (my wife) is next to her. Eva's brother & his wife are at the far right. The one big fish is a 49 lb. ling cod that Eva caught. We limited out on almost everything every day. We caught so many fish that we released more than we kept. When the film is developed, I'll send photos of the brown bear sow with 2 cubs that I took from about 20 feet away. That was a real rush!!! Anyway, I'm back and have a new computer with the latest technology which will be obsolete by Thanksgiving.
